🖥 About the Position:

The Sr Node Backend Dev plays a crucial role in the development team, combining technical expertise with a collaborative and adaptable mindset. This position involves actively contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable web applications while ensuring quality and efficiency.

The Sr Node Backend Dev Developer will be a key team player, capable of solving moderately complex technical challenges independently and supporting junior developers when necessary. They will also collaborate closely with senior engineers and project leads to align technical implementations with project objectives.

They are expected to balance technical contributions with strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills, fostering a productive and innovative environment.This role is ideal for professionals who are eager to grow, adapt to new challenges, and contribute both technically and creatively to the success of the team.

🍃 Work modality: Hybrid Uruguay - Argentina.
Offices located in Carrasco (Montevideo) and Palermo (Buenos Aires).

Onboarding: Full-time position based in Montevideo.

✨ Requirements:

• +6 years of experience in Backend development using NodeJS

• Experience working with performance optimization techniques for front-end and back-end applications.

• Familiarity with advanced testing strategies, such as integration or end-to-end testing.

• Exposure to scalable deployment practices, including basic container orchestration tools.

• Understanding of accessibility standards and how to apply them to user interfaces.

• Experience mentoring junior developers or collaborating on team-wide best practices.

Nice to Have: Typescript, Fastify, and/or React

Other Soft Skills Required: Communication skills, team interaction, and problem-solving skills.
English Level: Advanced
